Dr Snow

Dr Tom Snow was awarded a MBBCh with Honours from the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff in 2005 having previously studied for a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences and a MPhil in Molecular and Cellular Biology (on a BBSRC Studentship) at the University of Birmingham. Early clinical training took place in South West London, completing his advanced Cardiology training in London at St Thomas’ Hospital and Kings College Hospital. He completed a period of clinical research focusing on transcatheter valve intervention and coronary artery disease at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London, where he was the first Transcatheter Valve Fellow involved in all aspects of patient assessment and treatment. Tom completed his subspecialty training in interventional cardiology on a prestigious fellowship at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital where he acquired expertise in the treatment of complex coronary artery disease. He is well versed in the use of rotational atherectomy, intravascular imaging and the invasive physiological assessment of coronary artery disease. Dr Snow was appointed as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital in February 2017.
